Beginning the Journey™ is a two-day, in-depth introduction to the heart and soul of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture, presented by Professor Neil R. Gumenick. It offers a living experience of this profound system of Body, Mind, and Spirit medicine — appropriate for licensed practitioners and students of acupuncture, as well as for non-practitioners drawn to understand the tradition more deeply.

Over two days, participants explore the foundational principles of the system: the Five Elements — Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water — as they live within each of us; the idea of the Causative Factor, the root elemental imbalance at the source of illness; and the diagnostic art of perceiving color, sound, odor, and emotion. Throughout, Neil draws on nearly four decades of practice and his direct lineage in the teachings of Professor J.R. Worsley.
