The Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Program
As the only program of it's kind offered in Southern California, the Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Program offers Acupuncturists and other licensed medical professionals the opportunity to become certified as Classical Five-Element practitioners. The program is taught by Neil R. Gumenick, M.Ac. (U.K.), C.T. (A), L.Ac., Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM), and a team of faculty and guest faculty approved by the Director.
The purpose of the Classical Five-Element Acupuncture
Program is to:
~ Enable practitioners to provide the highest standard of care to the bodies, minds, and spirits of patients
~ Offer the opportunity for continual growth, learning, and deeper understanding into the nature of health and well being
~ Prepare and train a new generation of practitioners who will carry on this tradition
The program is open to licensed acupuncturists, physicians, osteopaths, dentists, other licensed medical professionals (whose scope of practice includes acupuncture), and students of Oriental Medicine. Admission to the program will include assessments by written application and interview. Because of the personal one-on-one attention provided to each student, class size will be limited and enrollments considered on a first come, first served basis.
CEUs: This program has been approved for 462 hours of continuing education units by the California Acupuncture Board
and is an approved NCCAOM Professional Development Activity.
The next Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Program begins September 2008.
